InterNACHI

Neighborhood Environmental gives InterNACHI members additional revenue.

Getting a home inspection? Good idea. But don't forget to get a neighborhood inspection too. Let Neighborhood Environmental research your city and send you a report which includes everything from the status of local hazardous waste sites to health risks specific to your neighborhood.

InterNACHI, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors is pleased to announce that Neighborhood Environmental has gone 100% InterNACHI.
NeighborhoodEnvironmental uses fresh data compiled from local inspectors, private laboratories, court records and government sources to research your area for contaminants of concern such as acids, base neutral acids, carcinogens, cement kiln dust, dioxins/dibenzofurans, dissolved solids, flammables, inorganics, metals, nitroaromatics, non-carciogens, oils and grease, organic and inorganic liquid sludge, organics, oxidizers, PAH, PCBs, pesticides, petroleum hydrocarbon, petroleum napthas, radioactive, reactives, unknown liquid waste and volatile organic compounds as well as contaminated media such as air, debris, groundwater, leachate, liquid waste, residuals, sediment, sludge, soil, and surface water to generate a report revealing risks that could affect the value of your home and the safety of your family. Here is an example of how to display the link on your site:
"Getting a home inspection? Good idea, but don't forget to get a neighborhood inspection too.  I don't offer this service but I recommend that you consider procuring any additional information that might affect your new home and its occupants.  Let www.NeighborhoodEnvironmental.com research your city and send you a report that includes everything from the status of local hazardous waste sites to heath risks specific to your neighborhood. Enter my NACH ID number InterNACHI______in the Referral Code box and get a $10 discount. I also collect a $12 fee if you enter my InterNACHI ID# in the Referral Code box."
InterNACHI members: Put your own, personal InterNACHI ID# in the paragraph above, then put the paragraph above on your home inspection website.  The last line of the paragraph (above) is required under InterNACHI's Code of Ethics 1.6.

If you add ?ref=YOURNACHIID to the end of the URL, your InterNACHI ID will automatically be entered in the referral code field. For example:
http://www.neighborhoodenvironmental...=InterNACHI04080595

Don' know your InterNACHI ID#?  Go here http://www.nachi.org/memberlist.htm to look it up.  Your InterNACHI ID# is the word "InterNACHI" followed by 8 numerical digits such as InterNACHI87654321.  A check for $12 will be sent to your address you have listed in www.nachi.org/profileintro.htm within 6 weeks of every order that used your InterNACHI ID# in the Referral Code box.

Also, don't forget to update the ancillary services (mold, lead, water quality, radon, etc.) you offer at www.nachi.org/ancillary.htm so that consumers can find you on www.InspectorLocator.com

InterNACHI members are also free to purchase local reports direct, get the $10 discount, get the $12 referral fee, reprint the reports in their entirety, and re-sell each report (no more than one time per report) provided it is fresh (no older than 60 days) for any price.  A great ancillary service to offer!  Or InterNACHI members can simply have their clients order direct (see italicized paragraph above).  InterNACHI member's clients enjoy a $10 discount and the InterNACHI member gets a $12 check in the mail... every time.
